Music Department Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble Performance rescheduled for March 19

The Music Department's first concert of the spring semester featuring the Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble was postponed on March 5 due to weather conditions, and is being rescheduled on Wednesday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lorenz Auditorium

The next concert after that performance will feature singers from the Normandale Concert Choir with the Angelica Encore Choral Ensemble and the Twin Cities Catholic Chorale with the Bloomington Symphony performing Mahler Symphony #2. They will also share the stage with vocal soloists Ilah Raleigh and Sofia Ardalan, who will provide the text. The concert will take place at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, Minn. on Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m.

On Tuesday, April 29, there will be a Guitar and Piano Ensembles performance at 3:30 p.m. in the Lorenz Fine Arts Auditorium. The Concert Choir will also perform Gounod Messe solennell De Pacques at Church of St. Agnes in St. Paul, Minn. on Sunday, May 4 at 10:30 a.m.

The Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble will also have a concert on Wednesday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lorenz Fine Arts Auditorium. On Friday, May 9, The Concert Choir and Vocal Ensemble will wrap up the academic year’s performances with a concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Lorenz Fine Arts Auditorium.
